How to set up a GoPro
The GoPro has a quick and easy setup that is very durable
and safe. For this set up I’m doing is on a surfboard. The GoPro has four steps
to get it set up. For the first part what you want to do is clean up the area
where you want to put your GoPro, Make sure there are no pressure dings or
little bits of wax on the board. A easy way how to take off wax is to dip a
hand towel in hot water and spread the water around the area, then use a wax
comb and take off the wax. The next step is to put on the GoPro sticker where
the GoPro attaches.
Next is the GoPro string sticker. It’s the little sticker
that looks like a triangle and has a loop on it. It’s where you attach the
string of your GoPro to for extra securement. Fit it into the first sticker so
it becomes a full circle.
Next is to attach your GoPro. Before putting it into water it is a good idea to check the rubber lining on the inside of your GoPro. Even a grain of sand or a hair can cause a leak!
Now we want put the string of the GoPro through the little triangle shaped sticker pad. Put your GoPro through the loop causing it to be tied on. Next slide the GoPro into the sticker pad, make sure you hear it click! Next is to put the rubber fail safe at the back of the part where you clipped your GoPro. It should fit perfectly. Make sure your GoPro is closed properly in case of any leaks. Your GoPro should be set up and ready to go.

A good idea is to buy a GoPro buoy. It’s good to have
especially when using it in water and when surfing. It acts as a last resort,
if your GoPro does detach from the sticker pad the buoy will allow it to float
up to the surface. You’ll have to find it now but it’s better than it sinking
to the bottom. Enjoy your GoPro and make some awesome videos with it!

Wow, I wish I had a GoPro... :)
